SNEAK PEEK:

Wiccan_NEW EBOOK

Regina felt like the tall dark-haired man in a well-fitted gray suit materialized next to her every time she turned her head. She glanced sideways in an attempt to see the stranger better, but it was fruitless.

Frustrated, she moved around the sculpture of a lynx poised to attack an unsuspecting prey, pretending to scan it when in fact she looked past it at the man. Square, clean-cut jaw that gave off an air of command, wavy hair that would be curly if worn any longer, full lips that slightly curved up under a Roman nose and a pair of deep-set eyes as black as a moonless sky. And just as enchanting. So bewitching that Regina didn’t realize they were staring straight back at her.

To hide her embarrassment, she tore her eyes away to find a waiter beside her. “Thank you,” she whispered, meaning much more than the glass of ruby wine she grabbed from his tray.

When her stubborn eyes were drawn back to the tall man standing on the other side of the big cat, he wasn’t there anymore. She knitted her eyebrows, wondering if she had spooked him and fighting an odd feeling of loss that gripped her by the guts.

“This is going to sound lame, but I promise it’s not a pick-up line. I feel as if I know you, yet I can’t place you. Have we met before?”

Damn it, his voice is so sexy!

An involuntary shiver ran down her spine as his low baritone rolled off the skin of her back. It did funny things to her private parts. Maybe Nina was right, she had gone too long without some healthy fun in the bedroom.

Turning to her left to face the man, she felt like falling from a high cliff when their eyes locked, as if she was flying. Lightheaded as if she forgot to breathe, Regina realized she had held her breath. The handsome face she had studied from across the room was devastatingly gorgeous up close and the naughty glint in those mesmerizing eyes promised so much more heat. She wanted to bask in their wicked warmth. She had never felt an instant attraction to a man before, but there was a first for everything.

“I don’t think we’ve met. I’m sure I would’ve remembered if we had. I’m Faith,” she couldn’t fathom why she chose her middle name to introduce herself, except for an indistinct idea brewing at the back of her mind. If her instincts were on point, that chance encounter could turn into a smoldering one-night-stand. She had never engaged in one, but some level of anonymity made sense to her. She couldn’t afford daydreaming about Mr. Hotness in the aftermath, so she decided then and there they were not to meet again. Ever.

Top Ten Favorite Places to Write

First, thanks to the awesome team at Xpresso Tours for putting this blitz together. Secondly, thanks to the host for having Holidays Ever After on your blog today. You’re much appreciated.

Now let’s get down to business. I LOVE top ten lists. Don’t you? LOL Please bear in mind that the order of items in the list below is not set in stone for me. Most often than not, the ideal place for me to write will be a combination of these.

Top Ten Favorite Places to Write

# 1 – The spot where I am right now. Through my window, the snow covered peak of Big Bear Mountain, California, stares at me;

# 2 – Any beach where the emerald waters are warm and the white sand is cool;

# 3 – A cozy room lit by a roaring fire in the fireplace;

# 4 – Anywhere I can easily access wine;

# 5 – In bed;

# 6 – On a hammock;

# 7 – Outdoors in a sunny, cool day;

# 8 – Under an old oak tree in spring;

# 9 – A castle;

# 10 – Inside a passionate embrace. No wait! That’s where I get inspiration! LOL So I’ll settle for a comfy sofa.
