Giuli was, in many ways, the inspiration for my character Keira Ashe in Luck of the Irish. Giuli is not only cute as button but also one of the most intelligent people I know. Unfortunately for her, being the yougest of a family full of smart-asses and smarty-alecks (me included and in the lead), Giuli is often times understimated and unappreciated. That’s why today I want the world to know how talented my niece is. I want everyone to know that when she seems quiet or aloof, Giuli is actually dreaming up ways to make this world a better, happier place.
